Marcus joined Mount Anvil in 2016 and is responsible for leading Mount Anvil’s land and development team. He has nine years of experience working on some of London’s largest and most complex regeneration projects, including Earl’s Court, Elephant & Castle, Southall Gas Works and the Olympic Park. He has advised many of London’s leading residential developers, including Berkeley Group, Candy & Candy, Capco, Grosvenor, Lend Lease and Legal & General on their most complex planning and development issues. 

Marcus previously worked as a Partner at international law firm Pinsent Masons. For five years he advised Mount Anvil on all its key developments going through planning. Before that Marcus worked at national law firms Eversheds and Addleshaw Goddard, spending time on secondment at the London Development Agency and the GLA. 

His unique role at Mount Anvil puts a laser focus on the company’s top priorities: residents, partners and sustainability, to deliver resilient homes, healthy places and vibrant communities for London. 

Marcus holds double First-class degrees in Law (LLB) from City University and Classics (MSt) from Oxford University.
