Killian is the co-founder and majority shareholder of Mount Anvil. He is a multi-disciplined professional and has worked in the London property market since 1988.
Passion, hard work and a very demanding approach focused on the development of people are key aspects of Killian’s business style. His ethos is that trust is earned through character and competence – demonstrated through repeat partnerships with housing associations and local authorities and collaborative delivery of design-led schemes that leave a lasting legacy for London.
These attributes have enabled the development of an exceptional team providing the platform for controlled profitable growth of the business in an entrepreneurial fashion.
Over the last 3 years we have delivered £124m of profit for our joint venture partners with a further £120m currently projected up to 2023.
Mount Anvil was named in the “Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For” for eleven consecutive years and Property Week’s Best Places to Work in 2018. His passion for people and their safety on-site has led Mount Anvil to hold the title of the ‘UK’s Number One Company for Health & Safety’ for four consecutive years, with the highest score awarded by the British Safety Council in 2018 – 99.6% and a ROSPA Gold award in 2020.
He received his Commerce degree from University College Cork and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1983.
Killian is a Director on Cork University Foundation Board and also sits on Munster Rugby Commercial Advisory Board.
