Alexander Jan, Non-executive Chair, Central District Alliance
Alexander is the non-executive chair of the Central District Alliance [former Midtown] the business improvement district covering Holborn, Clerkenwell, Farringdon, Bloomsbury and St Giles. He has recently been appointed chief economic adviser to the London Property Alliance which brings together the Westminster Property Association and the City Property Association to provide a unified voice for the leading owners, developers, investors and professional advisors of real estate across the City, the West End and their neighbouring commercial districts. Until last year, Alex was Arup’s chief economist. He is currently researching and writing a book on the life of Lord Ashfield, the first chairman of London Transport.
