Venue and directions

Registration for LREF will be held in the Guildhall Yard, EC2, and can be accessed from Gresham Street, Aldermanbury and Basinghall Street. The nearest stations are Bank (0.2 miles), St. Paul’s (0.3 miles), Moorgate (0.3 miles), and Mansion House (0.4 miles).

 

The event will take place across five stages at Guildhall – Great Hall, Old Library, Print Room, Livery Hall and The London Centre – all connected by the Ambulatory. Registration will take place in the Guildhall Yard and, once you have collected your badge, entrance to Guildhall will be via the West Wing or Art Gallery security gates.

Please note that any bags must go through a bag scanner on arrival.

A map of the venue will be available in the printed programme that you can pick up on the day but is also available online following the link below. This includes access points, all LREF stage and roundtable rooms and notes on where toilets and cloakrooms are across Guildhall.

Registration

Upon arrival, please report to the Registration Desk in the Guildhall Yard to collect your delegate badge and lanyard. Please ensure you bring a photo ID (e.g. passport or driving licence) to collect your badge.

All delegate badges will be printed by our Team onsite, so you will not receive tickets or a pass to print at home.

Badges cannot be shared between individuals and are for the named individual only. Swapping badges between individuals is strictly forbidden and may result in you being refused entry.


Opening times

Registration will open at 8:00 with programme sessions starting at 8:45. Breakfast will be served prior to the first session in The London Centre and the East Crypt.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day from the East Crypt and the bar areas in The Great Hall, The Old Library and The London Centre.

Our morning sessions will finish at 12:45 and our afternoon sessions will begin at 14:00.

There are also two lunchtime sessions taking place between 13:00–13:45: our Media Partner EG will be hosting a ‘Lunch and Learn’ session with a complimentary lunch being served in the Great Hall; and NLA will be hosting a Reimagine London winners presentation in The London Centre.

Our programme finishes at 17:45, with our Evening Receptions running until 20:30.


One City top tips for LREF

This year, we are pleased to be supporting local businesses over lunch this year.

If you plan on staying with us over the lunch break, there will be food trucks in the Guildhall Yard available for you to purchase from a range of cuisines.

Programme

The full programme is available to view online on the Programme page of the LREF website, which includes confirmed speakers and information about each session.

A printed programme will be given out on the day, information included is correct as of Thursday 19 September.

There will be a QR code on the back of your badge which you can scan to access the most up-to-date version of the programme.

All sessions will have time at the end to ask our speakers your questions, there will be microphones in the room to pose your question in person as well as the option of using Slido with code ‘LREF24’.


Meetings, quiet working and Wi-Fi

The West Crypt is available for all delegates throughout the event for quiet working and meetings on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are two Wi-Fi networks available in Guildhall, please see details below. If you need to access Wi-Fi in the Great Hall, please use the GHALL EVENTS network, otherwise both networks are available throughout the venue.

Meet the Delegation networking sessions

New for this year, we will be hosting a series of Meet the Delegation networking sessions in The London Centre. These will give all delegates the opportunity to meet and network with senior representatives and stakeholders from all London Boroughs and Manchester throughout the day.

Each reception is supported by one of the four sub-regional partnerships: Local London, Central London Forward, South London Partnership or West London Alliance or Marketing Manchester.

Each session will be 45 minutes and everyone is welcome to attend any of these sessions. You do not need to RSVP.

Receptions

We will be hosting two evening receptions from 17:45 to 20:30. A closing reception in association with the London Property Alliance will be held in the Great Hall and the NextGen Reception will be held in The London Centre.

At the NextGen Reception we will hear from Simeon Aldred, Strategy & Founder, Broadwick and Vibration Group, followed by a speech from Ross Sayers, Chair, CPA at the Closing Reception.

All guests are welcome to attend both Receptions and you do not need to RSVP.
